On October 20 the SPIBA Legislation & Lobbying Committee held a workshop “Topical taxation issues”.

The event addressed subjects such as transfer pricing, special features of VAT, trends in the administration of tax law in 2015, and other problematic issues.

Anton Kabakov, Partner of Awara, spoke at the seminar on the theme “Beneficial owner – who is he?”. As part of his presentation Anton briefly spotlighted the concept of “a person who has the actual right to receive income” and how this concept affects foreign businesses in Russia.
