Yes, the Ministry of Labor supports working remotely, if the employee has all the necessary resources to work from home (if something is missing, the company must provide it). They will be able to work remotely even in those cities where an order on heightened preparedness due to the coronavirus has not been introduced.
At the same time, work from home will not affect the employee’s salary; they will receive as much as when working from the office.
For employees to work remotely, employers must:
- Make a list of such employees and prepare a work procedure:
– how work tasks will be set, how to report on them
– how to use resources of the organization from home
- Issue an order on the temporary transfer of employees to remote work and additional agreements to labor contracts.
Right now it is sufficient to exchange electronic versions with employees, and paper versions should be exchanged after the cancellation of the non-working period.
