Current government measures to combat coronavirus only allow a limited number of companies to operate as before. The rest are forced to either transfer employees to remote work, or completely stop activities. In both cases, companies cannot use the office, warehouse, department in the shopping center or other non-residential premises. At the same time, only some lessors took the initiative to reduce or cancel rental payments during the period of forced downtime.
For companies that, due to objective reasons, will not be able to use rented premises in April, Awara’s lawyers will help prepare an official letter to the lessor. In this letter, we will give legitimate arguments in favor of reducing the rent or its complete abolition for the entire period of non-working days.
